Green Party Press acquires first serial printing rights. All rights revert to the author upon publication. If your story is accepted for publication, you will receive a complimentary contributor copy of the issue.
We publish exceptional writing that explores the depths of the psyche to find deep within something splendid.
Our journal is not a political statement but a means to explore staying “green” while producing great literature; the goal is to print only what is necessary while the rest stays available online in a pdf file. We intend to reduce printing copies at around 25% while utilizing online means at 75%.
This is a new journal so bare with us as we explore our options.
Submission Deadlines
Please read all guidelines carefully and follow the format to submit in order for all work to be considered for publication.
Green Party Press tentatively will be published annually but may see more publications as the journal receives more responses, submissions and interest.

Please make the payment of $3.00 for submissions via PayPal for the above email and provide a screen shot of the processed payment with your submission.
Submission Guidelines
The nominal fee of $3.00 for submissions will be used for the costs of production of the journal. We consider short stories (up to 3,000 words), flash fiction (up to 1,000 words), poetry (no more than 3 poems not to exceed five pages) visual art and photography in black and white jpeg images. Please keep submissions at no more than ten pages; you are welcome to submit to more than one discipline but please abide to the ten pages maximum per submission. You are welcome to submit up to three pieces of flash fiction.
Upload your fiction submission as a single file via attachment. Please submit your poetry as a single document via attachment with one poem per page. Also submit your flash fiction pieces as a single file via attachment with the title of each piece clearly presented at the top center of the page.
Please use 12 point font, Times New Roman for all work submitted. For fiction please use double space and for poetry use single spacing.
Provide a cover page in the body of the email; be sure to include your contact information and include a biography of no more than 500 words.
Submit your work in the following format in the subject line of your submission:
fiction (or poetry, art, photography, flash fiction) submission_Title of work_author name
Example:
Poetry submission_The Night is Young_Candace Meredith (for poetry use the first poem of the submission if submitting more than one work and the same applies if submitting more than one piece of flash fiction).
Submissions must be unpublished, original work. Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but you must withdraw your submission immediately if it is accepted elsewhere.
